Raw Retro is a brand name that has gone through many different eras as I have grown and changed as a person.
I started off selling retro games consoles such as the N64 and GameCube (yes, I am sorry to say they are now considered retro), moved onto selling vintage clothing, vintage and retro homeware, back into vintage clothing, and now vintage wholesale.
It's safe to say I've seen it all and I know firsthand the challenges that retailers face when sourcing quality stock.

Low Mis-Grade Rate & Customer Assurance
If an issue ever arises and the mis-grade margin of 15% is exceeded, you will always be refunded for affected items, or be sent you replacement items. We never want to see a customer worry about missing out due to a mis-grade.

Do you offer pre-orders?
No, we don't offer pre-orders for our bundles.
We know what it's like to have your money tied up in pre-orders for months at a time, especially if you are just starting your business venture.
We think it's only fair to sell you bundles that are in stock and can be dispatched promptly.
Other wholesalers that do offer pre-orders are unable to guarantee quality before stock arrives. When our stock is delivered we grade it ourselves to ensure the highest grade.
We don't believe in selling and promising bundles before our stock has been delivered and graded.
Only once we have graded our stock will we make it available to purchase.
Do you offer handpicking bookings?
No, currently we do not offer handpicking. This is so every customer gets a great mix of rare and valuable items.
However, as we are the only vintage clothing wholesaler in East Anglia, we will be looking into hand picking sessions in the future.

Do you offer returns / refunds?
Raw Retro Returns Policy
At Raw Retro, we value fairness and transparency. Below is our returns policy, which outlines how we handle return requests:
General Returns
As a business-to-business company, we are not obligated to offer refunds unless an item is damaged or incorrect.
However, we handle return requests at our discretion. While we are committed to helping when a return is valid, we evaluate each situation individually.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return:
- You must have a valid and fair reason.
- A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
- Items must be in their original condition: unchanged, unaltered, undamaged, and unused. If the item had tags, they must still be attached.
- Items must match the exact quantity and condition of what was originally sent.
We maintain detailed records of all items dispatched and thoroughly inspect all returns. If discrepancies are found between what was sent and what is returned, we reserve the right to deny the refund.
Mis-Grades
Our mis-grade rate is exceptionally low. In the rare case that mis-grades exceed this margin, we will refund the value of the mis-graded items or resolve the issue in another appropriate way.
Please also be aware for categories such as workwear, grading is generally expected to be less strict.
- To process a refund for mis-grades, you must provide photo or video evidence. Complaints without supporting evidence cannot be processed.
Return Process
If your return is approved:
- You will have 7 days from the delivery date to return the item.
- We will provide you with our return address and detailed instructions.
- Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
Refunds, where applicable, will be issued as a credit note to use on our site unless otherwise agreed.

How do you grade stock?
Grading & Distribution Policy
All grading is conducted fairly based on the exact items received from our supplier.
The percentages and ratios remain consistent across all customers, ensuring fairness in value, gender distribution (men’s/women’s items), styles, and brands.
We take great care to ensure that all bundles maintain a roughly equal resale value. High-value items ("gems") are always distributed evenly among bundles. Our grading and splitting process is extensive and impartial.
Important Considerations
- Vintage Condition: Since vintage clothing is pre-owned—sometimes decades old—expect general signs of wear. Grade A second-hand items are not equivalent to brand-new items.
- Branded Workwear: Certain brands, such as Patagonia, The North Face, Carhartt, and Dickies, may occasionally have company logos or embroidery, especially in workwear categories. This is standard across the industry.
- Security Tags: Though rare, some items may still have security tags attached. These can be easily removed with a quick online search.
Grading Criteria
Standard Clothing Grading
Grade A - No holes, tears, or significant stains.
May show minimal signs of wear.
Some items might have minor washable marks (e.g., dust, dirt, or water spots).
Grade B - May have small stains or marks that are harder to remove (oil, paint, bleach, dirt, grease, etc.).
Small holes or fabric snags.
Broken or non-functioning zippers requiring replacement.
Grade C - Large stains or marks that may not be removable.
Significant holes, snags, or tears.
Broken or missing zippers that require full replacement.
Workwear/Nascar Jacket/Carhartt/Dickies/ Hunting Camo Grading
Grade A - Small stains or paint/oil marks that are minor and may or may not be removable.
Minor holes or light wear—no extreme damage.
Fully functional zipper with no missing pull.
Grade B - Noticeable stains or marks that may be difficult to remove.
Small rips, holes, or snags in the fabric.
Missing or broken hardware (e.g., zip pull missing, but zipper still works).
Grade C - Large stains or deep-set marks that may not be removable.
Significant fabric damage, including extreme holes or tears.
Non-functioning zippers requiring full replacement.
